Some of these will be part of my critique on Wednesday... The more feedback the better!

Beginning to think of Francesca Woodman. I posted her for Jacki, but take a gander if you haven't already.

...1 and 4...

Why do you say those...? I am including them either way, but I am just wondering...

First one is confrontational but yet doesn't feel staged. The fourth one is suggestive. It gives me only enough to begin a narrative, or start an interpretation...it's mostly up to me to decipher that photograph.

Fifth is nice, too. Excellent use of available light. Ambiguous.

4,5 tightest, most interesting compositions.

Upon first glace at #3, I didn't even know you were in the frame. I thought the photo was of a tree shot through a rainy car window. But then I discovered your hair and face--a very natural pose for me.
I struggle with the bottom image (#6) only because I'm craving to see more detail like I could in #5. And the same glow as #4, too.
#1 appears as though you were just caught in the act of doing something secretive, so in that way I'm drawn to it the most. Even though #2 has a similar expression, the fact that you are faded out more makes my eye focus more on the barrier surrounding it and I lose the attention on your face.

I'll try to be as unroomate/familiarized with place as I possibly can for these. The last two get me. And even though the painted window ones are interesting, to me not as much as the last two. I just simply know that you were trying something new here and I respect that and can SEE it. If there's any encouragement I can give, it's to pursue the unlikely. The last two are strongest for me because they seem the most ambiguous and still act as self-portraiture.

But if I may call you out... I'm not sure that these are that recent. Shoot more, try more.
