The Farm

New photos from around our farm (just cropped no touchups, unfortunately). Also, I'm starting to flip through family albums from the 60's to the present, and I'm seeing some really subtle changes in my family (funky hair-dos/hair loss aside). Thanks for that tip, Shane. More to come on that topic next week :)

Hey Sam,

I am really feeling these pictures, more so then the ones in your last couple of family posts. I think these represent your family in a way that is not so in your face and blunt portrature. I am feeling like these are saying alot about your dad's work and your life in the place, with these people. They are making me "feel" for the people who inhabit these spaces more so then just seeing the faces of your family. I think this could be a cool direction to follow... the places where your family inhabits and are routine and part of daily life. Inspiration from the past could definitly help with that as well. Recreating old places and what they look like now in comparison to the past... I think these are strong composition wise and also the lighting has alot to do with the way I am interpreting them. You have alot of places to go, and alot of variables...but its definitly an idea. Good work!

The last image is tremendous. I'm glad to see you moving back some. The lonely mower is strong.
