Anyone want to address motion blur/camera shake?

Not feeling the emotion and reaction I felt in the your last post...not your last, last post, but your foggy post...Just my thought. Doesn't do it for me as much.

I definitely agree with you (and bravo for the less than positive crit - everyone needs to hear honesty). But, in this case, I'm really just interested to hear what y'all (yes, I'm in Virginia now) think about camera shake, etc. Does it automatically require that particular image be edited out or is their a time and place for poor focus, camera shake, etc? Just throwing it out there...

I definitely think it depends on the message you're trying to convey. Like in some of my 'memories redone' photos, the blur and camera shake was a high point. I'm in the process of doing another fear project as I'm coming to grips with avoidance and the old age of my dog. Some of the photos that I've taken are more blurred-a look i'm going for, not to show motion, but to show emotion.

But as I said, definitely depends on your subject and how you want to convey him/her/it.
