middle is where it's at. and not the top.

I agree, the middle one really caught my attention... I like that there isn't a face or head for that matter which can accomplish the separation that can be felt through the last image. The middle one is more curious while the first and last are pretty straightforward. The last image is chock full of rich emotion, and I really enjoy the lighting in each and how you can tell that they are taken at different times of day.

I see three different directions, for sure. I think it would be hard to pair either of the top two with the bottom one due to light situation and colors. Some questions that come to mind: what does the darker lighting potentially represent for the viewer? What does cutting off the head in the middle one do for you/viewer (possible communication conceptualization?) And for the top one, I think that it needs just a bit more to be visually enduring. Maybe this one would be fitting in a series?
