Mary - I can see the third photo appear on the front page of the GB Press Gazette -- is this from the polar plunge? The lighting is fantastic, a little blown out on the face but that's almost impossible not to get with the way the light is hitting the water. The moment is candid and real, I feel an emotion with this photo more than the others in this series you have posted. However, the blue hues in the middle photo are fabulous, not to mention the range of tones on the legs. Beautiful! Keep up the great work -- I'm so happy you found an outlet!

Shane and Sam: Sounds good...I will try to get one out for you! It was an amazing experience shooting that one...It was (to also answer Sam's question) for the polar plunge...It actually get submitted to a couple people's blogs about the event. It was pretty cool! It was amazing to watch people do it and be a part of it. The lighting I had was awesome! It was bright and early around 8:30am! Shot right into the light...I have been blown away by light these past couple of times. I have been using so much different light with my job and extra stuff...studio lights, flash, sunlight and shady and grey light. I am even digging blowing out of faces with light or backrounds depending on how I am feeling or trying to create a feeling in my photography...I carry my art into my commercial work. I just recently won a honorable mention for a wedding picture I shot, and it was awesome, because it reminds me more of my water work then a commercial shot. I am digging bringing that side of me into a business where I am so free to do my own thing. Clients seem to like it a lot too...win win, I guess ;-) Thanks for the comments you guys! I am really liking this shoot and more so even the experience. I have a new one I am embarking on at the same time as continuing this one. I can't really stop, I am loving the hunger for it! I also highly recommend trying to get to workshops if possible! Hearing other people's inspiring words of wisdom and knowledge is something I never thought would be so rewarding, but I am recieving that once in awhile here, and I am soaking it up like a sponge!
